Our Climate is Changing - Oops, no it's not, go back to sleep

Well, it is Easter and we here in New England have 20 degree weather to wake up to with snow on the ground and temps rising to not much more than 40 degrees during the sun shining days. It was noted on the news last night, that the weather for Easter is the same exact weather we had here on Christmas 2006.

Go figure, with there being no difference in weather from December to April what is is that our weather anchor men and women are NOT telling us. Well, if you read the article below, you'll begin to understand WHY we're not being told.

As I have said in my previous post, 'something wicked this way comes'. And for some reason, the PTB don't want us to know / be prepared / panic (???). Only thing is, I don't know why.

Found this article from the PUBLIC EMPLOYEES FOR ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY@

http://www.peer.org/news/news_id.php?row_id=841

in part it says this............

*Any “fundamental research communication” must “before the communication occurs” be submitted to and approved by the designated “head of the operating unit.” While the directive states that approval may not be withheld “based on policy, budget, or management implications of the research,” it does not define these terms and limits any appeal to within Commerce;

*National Weather Service employees are allowed only “as part of their routine responsibilities to communicate information about the weather to the public”;

*Scientists must give the Commerce Department at least two weeks “advance notice” of any written, oral or audiovisual presentation prepared on their own time if it “is a matter of official interest to the Department because it relates to Department programs, policies or operations.”

“This ridiculous gag order ignores the First Amendment and disrespects the world-renowned professionals who work within Commerce agencies,” stated PEER Executive Director Jeff Ruch.

Then there is this from the article entitled:

Climate Change Swindlers and the Political Agenda
dated: March 14, 2007
by: Laura Knight-Jadczyk

"Some time ago I wrote about Climate Change as being probably the most pressing problem facing humanity today. It is so pressing that I am convinced that possibly 90% of the human race - over 6 billion people - could be at risk of certain death in the very near future - like within ten years - if this matter is not addressed adequately and appropriately very, very soon by our "glorious leaders" who seem to have little on their mind other than blowing up innocent people.

"But then, that war-mongering has a hidden agenda behind it: to grab and hold resources.
But rest assured that the intent is not to grab and hold those resources for you and me; it is to get them for the "elite," that 6% of humanity that is on the top of the heap and intends to stay there regardless of the fact that those genes should never be passed on.

"Well, the Climate Change Confusion factor is heating up. "

I know, i know, DON'T WORRY, BE HAPPY. Don't think about tomorrow. Turn on the TV and watch ' American Idol'. You probably don't really want to know what's going on, cause if you did you wouldn't sleep for weeks.

Time for bed little one's. What - you're all grow'ed up ! ! Then start acting that way and begin to read/learn and be concerned for your children.

Global Warming - Want To Know the Truth ?

Tonight, as I was driving home from work, our local "talk radio" station was discussing the topic of 'Global Warming'. Now I'm no expert on this subject, but I've been reading all that I can get my hands on, as I find it an extremely IMPORTANT subject due to the fact that I have children and I want to be sure that their future is going to be a safe one (and that fact still is up in the air).

Just like I've investigated and read about alternative medicines due to the same reason, being that my children are the world to me and I want them to be as healthy as possible. But this is another subject for a later discussion.

Well, back to Global Warming and 'talk radio'.......what I heard said by the host of 96.9 FM was that global warming had nothing to do with us humans, nothing to do with our air conditioners, our cars, our pollution. But it had everything to do with cycles of the universe and that MAYBE our scientists should take another look at what might be coming our way (and I don't me more lazy, hazy days at the beach).

Ever heard the phrase, "Something wicked this way comes"? Well if you go to where I found this article on global warming you just might pick up some useful information.

It's time to get the truth out..............

FORGET ABOUT GLOBAL WARMING: WE'RE ONE STEP AWAY FROM EXTINCTION

Date: Tuesday, March 20, 2007

"Often, some of the most important news comes from local papers, stories that don't make it up the feeding chain and onto the news wires or major newspapers or nightly network news. It can be news that at first glance wouldn't appear to have a national or international impact. Second glance, and a good memory, can reveal that the impact may well be quite significant.

"The other day a reader sent us an article link that he found on another alt.news website: Bad news - we are way past our 'extinct by' date

"Since we had run the same story back when it first came out, we thought "yeah! Flashback!" After all, with all the talk about Global Warming, it served to remind readers that human caused CO2 levels are not all there is to what is going on here on the BBM today.

SURVIVAL OF THE HUMAN RACE - READ THIS

I've been away too long from my blog, and now I'm gonna try and make up for some lost time. There is sooooo much going on in this world that is extremely important to know about (remember I love the phrase: "Knowledge protects") that I came across this article by a lady who is, in my opinion, a brilliant writer/researcher, Laura Knight-Jadczyk.
http://laura-knight-jadczyk.blogspot.com/

So whatever your position in life is, whether you are wealthy, intelligent, secure in your job, think that nothing of a negative sort could affect you or your life, you must read this article in it's entirety.

It just might save your life and, save your children. And if you have children, think to the future my friend.

The article I am referring to is entitled "The Hope" and can be found here:
http://laura-knight-jadczyk.blogspot.com/2007/03/hope.html/

the article begins here:

THE HOPE
~ Laura Knight-Jadczyk

"My last contribution to the Blogosphere was pretty scary, wasn't it? Geeze! You shoulda seen my mail! People going bananas and writing "what to do? what to do!?"

"Well, this one's not going to be any better. But let me say in advance that today's particular collection of items will lead us to a certain point of HOPE which I wish to elucidate at the end.
IT is 7.17 am, Eastern Standard Time, on the thirtieth of June [some year in the not-too-distant future]. Suddenly the power fails.

"The basement centre of the Defense Communication Operations Unit adjoining the White House is plunged into darkness, and only the distant rumble of early morning traffic reminds the duty officer that another day has already begun. There have been power failures before, however, and there is no hint of impending crisis

"Almost immediately, an automatic switch brings in the emergency supply. But now the duty officer observes that something is wrong. Telephone links to the outside world have gone. These include the open links, via commercial cables, to NORAD's bunker a thousand feet under Cheyenne Peak in Colorado, and to the Offutt command post near Omaha.

"Within seconds it is ascertained that neither the President nor Vice-President, both of whom are out of town, can be contacted: radio communications are blacked out, on all frequencies. .......................

There's tons of information in this article. More than you can imagine only if you read it to the end.

LOOKING BACK ON A SITUATION - JOB LOST

I HAVE BEEN READING this book entitled: Political Ponerology - A science on the nature of evil adjusted for political purposes....by the author Andrew M. Lobaczewski.

Well, I just read the following and my mind exploded with a memory from the past several months with regard to my (my interpretation) being harrassed at my workplace (again, a place where I have been employed for the last 10 years, with not one documented complaint about my work OR behavior).

This is what I read that triggered memories from my work experience:

((begin)) When the human mind comes into contact with [the psychopath directly and with this reality] so different from any experiences encountered by a person raised in a society dominated by normal people, it releases psychophysiological shock symptoms in the human brain with a higher tonus of cortex inhibition and a stifling of feelings, which then sometimes gush forth uncontrollably.

The mind then works more slowly and less keenly because the associative mechanisms have become inefficient. Especially when a person has direct contact with psychopathic representatives of the new rule, who use their specific experience so as to traumatize the minds of the "others" with their own personalities, his mind succumbs to a state of short-term catatonia.

Their humiliating and arrogant techniques, brutal paramoralizations, and so forth deaden his thought processes and his self-defense capabilities, and their divergent experiential method anchors in his mind.

In the presence of this kind of phenomenon, any moralizing evaluation of a person's behavior in such a situation thus becomes inaccurate at best. Only once these unbelievably unpleasant psychological states have passed, thanks to rest in benevolent company, is it possible to reflect, always a difficult and painful process, or to become aware that one's mind and common sense have been fooled by something which cannot fit into the normal human imagination. ((end))

Again, I must repeat: "The mind works more slowly (snip) especially when the person has DIRECT CONTACT with a psychopathic representative (snip) who use their specific experience so as to traumatize the mind of others......"

Basically this passage reminded me of my last day at work. I had given my notice, due to the constant pressures being applied to me personally. Emotionally and physically I could not continue working under such circumstances, and I caved in (or maybe I actually saved myself by leaving the job - time will tell).

Well, I was saying goodbye to our Practice Administrator (she was the person who would NOT back me in my complaints about our new Office Manager and her behaviors and veiled threats towards me), when I brought up (once again) the situation with my Office Manager.

My Practice Administrator at once changed her tone of voice, her demeanor became very hostile and her eyes (pupils) became what I can only describe as 'pointed arrows' directed at me.

She repeated a phrase over-and-over to me. She had also done this in past encounters when I went to her with complaints. When I recognized what she was doing I immediately asked her to STOP. That this direction of our conversations was not going anywhere.

But she did not stop and kept on going round and round with the same phraseology in a slightly different manner. THREE TIMES did I have to ask her to STOP what she was doing. Finally with my saying that I was leaving and I would not listen to what she was saying anylonger, she did stop - but only because I was the one who walked away from the conversation.

In reading the above from Lobaczewski's book, it absolutely occurred to me that what this woman was doing to me was just what he wrote about - she was traumatizing my mind (and now I recognize that she has done this in the past also) and that I was recognizing that something unnatural or creepy was happening to me and by my repetedly asking her to STOP, I was becoming aware of what was happening to me.

Of course, then again, maybe as it was my final day of work, I just didn't care to hear any more of her lies and complaining about the same old issues. But I like to think that there was, somewhere deep within me, a RECOGNITION of what was actually happening to me.

To anyone who reads this blog piece, I apologize for not making myself any clearer than I am. But I wanted to write this down for my own self-remembering so that I can remind myself that I am starting to SEE.

ps. Anyone and everyone should read this book. It is going to be a lifesaver (lifepreserver) for humanity. Just go to:

MORE READING RECOMMENDATIONS......

Today, I read a new post from this woman's blog. It is so detailed, so chilling that I thought I'd recommend anyone else to read it and also recommend the book she quotes.

The blog is http://laura-knight-jadczyk.blogspot.com/

The article is AMERICA'S NERVOUS BREAKDOWN, written October 1, 2006.

Exerpts below:::::

((snip))
I frequently get emails and letters from readers who simply cannot understand how psychopaths – and other related or similar psychological deviants – can move into positions of power, how they can "put one over" on so many people. It strikes the average person as preposterous that even they can be taken in by a deviant. As I wrote in my blogpost, "The Cult of the Plausible Lie":

((snip))
Psychopaths are quite adept at weaving stories that are very emotionally stimulating. They can do this with a fantastic, deft touch, restraining a furtive tear, or clearing a cracking voice at the right moment, so that even the most practical of normal humans is taken in and convinced that here is the "real thing," a noble human being who needs my help, my support, my all.

They are master manipulators, able to sense with ease what their target wants and needs to hear. Personal interactions are where they excel because they are so skilled at telling exquisitely acted stories that may, indeed, contain some elements of truth. They can tell these stories so impressively that normal due diligence is cast aside as being insulting to such a noble and oppressed character.

Psychopaths are masters of rising to the top in any field or organization. They know how to worm their way into the good graces of those at the top, and how to get those who work alongside them to carry the load for them and be happy doing it! They deliberately seek to build emotional attachments between themselves and those with power thus making sure that they have guardians and boosters to their "careers."

The fact is that the most pronounced traits of the psychopath just happen to be traits that American Capitalistic society values: egocentricity, lack of concern for others, superficiality, manipulativeness, an ability to "play the game" better than others. Looking at these characteristics in isolation is a big mistake, we are told by Prof. Robert Hare, an expert on psychopaths. Yes, many of these characteristics are valuable for accomplishing all sorts of different things - politics, business, show biz - for example. These characteristics can lead to productive output. But it is when they are combined with the hidden part of the psychopath that they become disastrous.

People might say that a psychopath is "charismatic", "high profile", "gets things done", and that is exactly the impression that they wish to create and are able, with preternatural cunning, to do so.

((snip))
Inside, the psychopath is really insincere, arrogant, untrustworthy, manipulative, insensitive to the thoughts and feelings of others, remorseless, shallow, irresponsible (blames others for anything and everything that goes wrong), impatient, unreliable, selfish, parasitic, and quite willing to take shameless advantage of the goodwill they manipulatively engender in those individuals they intend to use to get to the top. They treat all people, including their families, like objects and can do incredible damage to anyone who crosses them or frustrates their goals. And, the horrifying fact is, most of them never get caught.

We live in a high speed, high pressure world where a lot of the traditional social structures that used to contain and protect us have been stripped away. Many of us are involved in virtual interactions with others and this presents its own set of problems. As the old-fashioned way of doing things is forced to change with the times, pressures for speed, technology, new systems, create a sort of frontier capitalistic reality where ideas and information are the new commodities.. Psychopaths thrive in this type of chaotic, high-pressure world. In the realm of ideas as commodity, there's no shortage of opportunities for psychopaths to rise to the top.

((end))

me again,
As I wrote last week, my job is over. My boss, a very adept psychopath has all the qualities and personality traits of the above - and more. Even though I was a 10 year employee with a spotless record, and she was a 5 month new employee who had never worked in the medical field before, and even though she was terrorizing me at work daily, setting me up to fail at tasks she thought of, I AM THE ONE OUT OF A JOB.

Don't be fooled by HR (humana resources), they said a lot of nice things about me. The met with me - we had meetings galore. They said they were on my side. But, in the end, they did nothing to help me. And for my health and well-being I am out of a job.

Wake up people. You may be next.

OUT OF A JOB.......

Tomorrow I go back to work. Tomorrow I will give me notice. Tomorrow my future will be held within a black hole. And the really said thing is, I don't care.

My job.....I've done my job to the best of my ability for the past 10 years. For the last five of those years, I have so enjoyed what I do, how I do it, when I do it, and with whom I have spent my working hours doing it with.

I have learned, I have shared, I have loved, I have cried, I have laughed with my co-workers. And right now, I am grieving over the loss of all those things.

Loosing/getting out of this job is like a divorce. You think of all the things that should be/could have been and cry and weep because it's not supposed to end this way. I had planned to retire from this position. But, I'm still years away from retirement. Too old to begin anew, too young to retire. At least, this is how I feel at the moment.

So it is, that I will grieve and weep for the next 24 hours. That has always been what works for me when I am scared/frustrated/worried. Just grieve/worry my little mind out. Then, let it all go. Let the future begin.

THE STRUGGLE FOR SELF

Here I go again, making note of what book has been a helpful read to make me aware of why my life has been such a struggle.

This next book I want to share with all is entitled:
"Trapped in the Mirror
Adult Children of Narcissists in Their Struggle for Self"
by: Elan Golomb, Ph.D.

and to add some issues this book explores, here are some comments from the back of this wonderfully helpful book:

~ the nature of the paralysis & lack of motivation so many adults feel
~ stress & its role in exacerbating childhood wrongs
~ why so many of our relationships seem to be "reruns" of the past

Have you grown up with a feeling of unworthiness?? I have. And, it did continue into my marriage and even with my children. I still struggle with some personal issues, but have changed my outlook on myself. I no longer feel unworthy. And, I find myself feeling proud of myself for having the strength to continue on with my life and that I continued looking for answers to the many baffling questions of my childhood, and my life in general terms.

But, becoming aware of how you were molded as a child....of how you were manipulated in your most innocent of years, is the first step in overcoming many of the programs that were instilled into your being.

Read this book and weap. I guarantee you will. But, you'll feel much stronger a person after finishing this book.

ARE YOU THE 'BLACK SHEEP' OF THE FAMILY

HAVE YOU EVER THOUGH: "WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME?"

Well, I have. For most of my life I have thought things like the above, or I must be the 'black sheep' in the family, I'm so different from everyone. Those thoughts took up way too much of my time, wondering 'what's wrong with me'. But, after all these years I have found some answers to my questions.

Hold on to your socks, because there may in truth, be nothing wrong with you except that you are surrounded by people who have BPD....Borderline Personality Disorder.

Another book I could recommend without hesitation is this one:
"Stop Walking on Eggshells
Taking Your Life Back When Someone You Care
About Has Borderline Personality Disorder"
by: Paul T. Mason, M.S. & Randi Kreger

I think there are a couple of Universities who give classes on this exact issue BPD. I've read the book and have taken some interesting concepts on and have actually successfully used them with my ex-spouse and in my workplace.

So, as the back of the book cover says:
~ Do you feel that anything you say or do will be twisted against
you?
~ Does no one believe you when you explain what is going on?
~ Are you the focus of intense, violent, and irrational rages,
alternating with periods when they act normal & loving?

Read the book, and then let the games begin. You'll be a top player and will have much more control over your life, your emotions and your well-being.

Good luck ! !

MANIPULATIVE PEOPLE .... GOTTA LOVE 'EM (NOT)

Well, I've decided that I need to share some of the truly incredible and helpful reads that have entered into my life. And, since I've found great inspiration and assistance through reading about and becoming aware of these types of people, I'm hoping to help even one other human by writing about this. So, here goes...............

If you've ever been manipulated by someone you love or respect or thought was a friend, then you MUST read this book. It will free your mind, make you more aware, and help you to not be ma-ni-pu-la-ted again. Er...... at least you'll become aware you were/have been manipulated. And, as time goes by, you'll start to pick up on cues and eventually find yourself in a position where you won't be the target of any more manipulations.

Knowledge protects, right ! !

So, to begin with here is my personal recommendation. It's a small book, a quick read (for those of you who aren't into reading much) and the title is:

"IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING
Understanding and Dealing with Manipulative People"
by: George K. Simon, Jr., Ph.D.

.....and here's a little quote from the back of the book cover:

"Whether it's your mate or child who knows how to push your buttons, the co-worker who quietly undermines your efforts while professing to be helpful, or the boss who preys on your weaknesses, manipulative people have two goals: to win and to look good doing it. Often those they abuse are ignorant of, or only vaguely aware of, what is happening to them."

The book is immensely helpful to us who think that all people are looking out for our best interests (and this includes parents/spouses/friends).

The book helps you to spot weaknesses in your character that can set you up for manipulation.

Enjoy your new adventure into finding out about the true nature of people. Not everything is as it seems. I can say this because of personal experience.

Like it or not, once you start reading about manipulators, agressive personalities, psychopaths, you'll never look at this world with the same pair of innocent eyes. Sorry if this will take away any joy in your life. But 'truth' will keep you ... and your children ... safe.

HATS OFF TO AUTHOR ANNA C. SALTER, PH.D.

I just want to start this off by saying that I love the author Anna Salter. I consider her one-of-several-people who have helped me save my soul. And, she doesn't know me, has never met me - doesn't know I exist, yet she is my hero.

I'm not a young person, neither am I an old person. In my middle age, I have discovered something that has helped me understand my life.

This 'something' has had a miracle-like effect on my well-being.

My life has been, up to now, like I was stuck in mud, not understanding why my life didn't work, why I was miserable most of the time, why I developed this, what I call, a "guilt-gene" that pretty much dictated what I would/could/should do with every move of my life - up until this past year or so.

Anna Salter has written several books. All, of which, I would highly recommend to anyone/everyone - no matter who you are.

The subject matter is PSYCHOPATHS/PREDATORS.......and these two words were never thought of consciously by me before being introduced to several authors, Anna Salter, being one of them.

Now, no way am I professing to be a specialist in the area of psychopaths/predators, but once you begin reading on the issue, it will make your eyes pop! ! ! Your mind will race, like Nascar, with moments in your life.....with those most important people in your life....like those times you can't fully explain to yourself...., well, at least that's what happened to me.

IF....your life is not working.
IF....that special someone in your life continually causes chaos in your
relationship.
IF....you are unable to focus on your own future, your own ideas, your
own goals without being c-o-n-t-i-n-u-a-l-l-y distracted by lots &
lots of DRAMA, then you need to read some of Anna's books.

WHO AM I ? ?

I can't stop thinking about this issue.

How do I possibly get this down on paper, it's something that in reality doesn't make any sense at all. It is something I have thought of on-and-off, for many, many years .... so many years that it seems to be coming to a head and I am finding that I think of this issue daily.

What is it, you ask, that makes my mind wander back and forth. It is something that many children ask themselves at some point in their growing up years, hoping that their parents aren't really their parents. But, I never was one to do this to myself. It all started about 25 years ago - mostly as a joke, but today has become more of an irritation of sorts.

The 'issue' that is torturing me is this...........am I adopted (?) was I a baby who was switched at birth (?) or was some kind of baby switch done around 18 months old (?).

Now for the facts. I'm in my 50's. I have four sisters and one brother. None of them do I look like. Nor do I look like my mother or father or grandparents or aunts or uncles.

It has been a sort of family joke that I'm the milkman's daughter. Everyone gets a chuckle at that, especially when we are at a family gathering and someone new to the family will say to me with complete surprise "You're (so and so's) sister, daughter ! ! You don't look anything like the rest of the family."

But back even further, to the beginning of the questions that have been raised, not by me, but by my mother. Many, many years ago she relayed an unusual story to me and the family. From time to time, she brings this up and it has made me wonder what, if anything, this story rings of some sort of truth - something maybe even my own mother doesn't seem to be conscious of.

The story goes like this.....when I was about 18 months old, I was quite something. I was talking quite a bit (apparently quite unusual for the time) and my aunt, my mother's sister (who was pregnant at this time) thought I was just the most wonderful child. I, like my parents, had dark black hair and bright blue eyes. I was just beautiful ! ! !

The story gets quite sad at this point. My aunt, who was pregnant, gave birth to twin boys. But she, and her two sons, died in childbirth. It was a very traumatic time for my mom and her family. Something I cannot even imagine the grief they were experiencing. But, here is where the story takes the strange twist ..... my mother relates that the day my aunt and her boys died, she put me to bed. When she picked me up in the morning, from my crib, I had this incredible change of hair color and eye color - going from black hair to blonde and eyes from bright blue to green. Go figure.

Now I never, ever gave that story any credence of truth, although I thought it was a wildly impossible event, but my mom insists it was absolutely true. I went from black hair/blue eyes to blonde hair/green eyes overnight. Is this medically possible? I know that babies eyes do change color. But haircolor too - overnight?

Could it be from the trauma the family was experiencing?? Could my mom have been so filled with grief that she didn't recognize/experience that her child was (maybe) not her child?? None of this story logically makes any sense to me.

But my mom, who is now 82, still sticks by this story - the hair/eye color change that happened overnight. What am I to make of this??

To continue on with the story I should tell you that I love to go yard-sailing, as we call it around here. Usually I go with one or two or three of my sisters, since we all love to find a good "bargain" now and then.

Every weekend, as we stop to check out the 'sales', it never fails that someone will talk to one of my sisters (we are all very friendly) and say to that person "Oh, and this is your sister too." ..... and be referring to the other one or two sisters who are with us. But never, NEVER, do they include me in the referring. For the last couple of years it's just been something we've all laughed at. But, it's just getting weirder and weirder.

A week ago, I took my mom to the hospital to get some blood drawn. We sat down next to another elderly lady. As it turned out, she and my mom were friends in their younger days and they talked for sometime until we had to leave. My mom introduced me to this woman as her 'oldest daughter'. The woman said "You're kidding, I would never have guessed she was one of your children. She doesn't look like any of the others I know." Well, you know my mom and I brought up the old joke of me being the milkman's daugher. Everyone laughed.

But, this is just getting rediculous.

Yesterday, at two separate yardsales, people talked to my other sister and said things like "Oh, and so-and-so is your sister, you look just like her." I was just so irritated by it all I walked away. Determined not to stand there and say (as I usually do) "I'm so-and-so's sister too." It's just getting to be too much for me.

And, I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT. It's on my mind alot. Can't shake the feeling that there's something more to this whole story than I may ever find out. It's a mystery (or maybe it's not) that I want to solve, to settle in my own mind.

Anyone have any suggestions??? I am actually asking myself this question. But as yet I have not come up with an answer - except to try to do a dna test. But how would I bring that up to my mom without offending her or scaring her?

My personal feeling is that someone switched me in my crib when I was 18 months old. But that's probably too conspiritorial for it to have any truth. And I'm not a crazy person. Just trying to figure out an answer to this crazy issue in my life.

Ponerology/Psychopaths/Condoleeza Rice

Ponerology, psychopaths, does she speak for you??
This article was taken from:
http://signs-of-the-times.org/signs/signs.php

Signs of the Times for Mon, 24 Jul 2006

Signs Editorial:

Condoleezza Pregnant: Giving Birth to Monster
by: Laura Knight-Jadczyk

Rice sees bombs as "birth pangs"

Condoleezza Rice has described the plight of Lebanon as a part of the "birth pangs of a new Middle East" and said that Israel should ignore calls for a ceasefire."This is a different Middle East. It's a new Middle East. It's hard, We're going through a very violent time," the US secretary of state said."A ceasefire would be a false promise if it simply returns us to the status quo."Such a step would allow terrorists to launch attacks at the time and terms of their choosing and to threaten innocent people, Arab and Israeli, throughout the region."

I have to say that, as the mother of five children, these remarks stopped me cold in my tracks. Aside from the obvious question "what can Condoleezza Rice - a woman who has never given birth - know about "birth pangs"? - there is another more compelling question: what kind of human being can be so callous as to say such a thing when tens of thousands of mothers in the Middle East have suffered the unimaginable grief of seeing their beautiful babies crushed under the jackboots of rapacious Imperialism and religious fanaticism?

In Norman Finkelstein's book Beyond Chutzpah, he writes:
In the course of preparing the chapters of this book devoted to Israel's human rights record in the Occupied Territories, I went through literally thousands of pages of human rights reports, published by multiple, fiercely independent, and highly professional organizations - Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, B'Tselem (Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories), Public Committee Against Torture in Israel, Physicians for Human Rights - Israel - each fielding its own autonomous staff of monitors and investigators.

Except on one minor matter, I didn't come across a single point of law or fact on which these human rights organizations differed.

In the case of Israel's human rights record, one can speak today not just of a broad consensus - as on historical questions - but of an UNQUALIFIED consensus. All these organizations agreed, for example, that Palestinian detainees have been sytematically ill treated and tortured, the total number now probably reaching the tens of thousands.
Yet if, as I've suggested, broad agreement has been reached on the FACTUAL record, an obvious anomaly arises: what accounts for the impassioned controversy that still swirls around the Israel-Palestine conflict?

To my mind, explaining this apparent paradox requires, first of all, that a fundamental distinction be made between those controversies that are real and those that are contrived.

To illustrate real differences of opinion, let us consider again the Palestinian refugee question.

It is possible for interested parties to agree on the facts yet come to diametrically opposed moral, legal, and political conclusions.
Thus, as already mentioned, the scholarly consensus is that Palestinians were ethnically cleansed in 1948.

Israel's leading historian on the topic, Benny Morris, although having done more than anyone else to clarify exactly what happened, nonetheless concludes that, morally, it was a good thing - just as, in his view, the "annihilation" of Native Americans was a good thing - that, legally, Palestinians have no right to return to their homes, and that, politically, Israel's big error in 1948 was that it hadn't "carried out a large expulsion and cleansed the whole country - the whole Land of Israel, as far as the Jordan" of Palestinians.

However repellant morally, these clearly can't be called FALSE conclusions.

Returning to the universe inhabited by normal human beings, it's possible for people to concur on the facts as well as on their moral and legal implications, yet still reach divergent POLITICAL conclusions.
Noam Chomsky agrees that, factually, Palestinians were expelled; that, morally, this was a major crime; and that, legally, Palestinians have a right of return. Yet, politically, he concludes that implementation of this right is infeasible and pressing it inexpedient, indeed, that dangling this (in his view) illusory hope before Palestinian refugees is deeply immoral.
There are those, contrariwise, who maintain that a moral and legal right is meaningless unless it can be exercised and that implementing the right of return is a practical possibility.

For our purposes, the point is not who's right and who's wrong but that, even among honest and decent people, there can be a real and legitimate differences of political judgment.

This having been said, however, it bears emphasis that - at any rate, among those sharing ordinary moral values - the range of political disagreement is quite narrow, while the range of agreement quite broad."
Let's run that by one more time: The scholarly consensus is that Palestinians were ethnically cleansed in 1948 and Israel's leading historian, Benny Morris, thinks that this was a good thing.
And now, Condoleezza Rice thinks that further ethnic cleansing of the Middle East by the psycho-bullies of Israel is just "birth pangs" of a "New Middle East."

Most Westerners have been brainwashed to think that the "Arab-Israeli Conflict" is some kind of old, historical hatred, a "cosmic clash of religions, cultures, civilizations. This is what Finkelstein refers to as a "contrived controversy." It is all bunk and mystification and it serves to blow smoke on the so-called "Two State Solution" that is the favored political gambit of most normal, decent, humane and moral people. Noam Chomsky favors this view to some extent, but I sometimes wonder how a person can have any moral fiber at all if they, on the one hand, agree that a deed is totally morally reprehensible, and on the other hand, suggest that righting the wrong is not feasible.

Someday, We All Will Wake Up To This Life

Can anyone read this article and not wonder why what is seen and heard in the news reports, on tv and on the nightly newscasts, is SO DIFFERENT from what is reported here in this editorial from the Signs page.

Dispatch from Palestine - Nablus: "It is our life"
by: Silvia Cattori

Our friend Silvia Cattori sends this report from Nablus:

Every night the city of Nablus is shaken by the sounds of war, sounds that drive away sleep. One awakens with a start, not knowing if one has slept, not slept, or if we are in a waking nightmare. There is shooting, nearby explosions resonate, go off in the distance, and return as an echo.

You don't know what is happening or where it is happening. At first, you are very worried, then you stop thinking about it. One waits for daybreak with resignation.

The people around tell you it is like that every day of the year here in the district of Nablus, that nothing has changed since 2000, that it is simply part of the panoply of the war of terror waged by Israel, added on top of the countless other repressive measures.

Soldiers regularly penetrate the small alleys of Nablus or its villages at night. They break down doors, throw grenades. House by house they search for men they say are "wanted", are "suspects". They force families out on the street, then they search, breaking everything, and if they don't find what they are looking for, they order mothers to call their sons to hand themselves in via the loud speakers. If the "suspect" doesn't appear, they may arrest the father, the brothers, or blow up the house. They leave before dawn.

The shooting ceased after midnight.

But the fiercest fighting started at 4:00 this morning when the city was shaken by a strong explosion. Then intense shooting. The sound of the shooting was twice drowned out by the voices of the muezzin, voices going far, returning as an echo as we held our breath.

What happened tonight during the raid was not the usual. Israeli troops arrived around 4 am without making a sound, by surprise. Generally, the soldiers don't come face to face with combatants because the wanted men hide. They know they are hunted and, with their poor rifles, are no match. But this morning, the lookouts resisted. The fighting lasted several hours. The Israeli army lost one dead and six others wounded, several very seriously.

Four young Palestinians were captured and taken away by the soldiers. They are undergoing interrogation by Shen Bet. The information that they will manage to extort will serve to justify the next round of raids and punitive actions. We are waiting for the army to return at any moment and know that the repression will be all the more severe as the dead soldier is the son of the commander in charge of the region.

The people are at the end of their ropes. Israel has humiliated them, starved them, taken away all of their rights. They live here as prisoners. When people present themselves at the checkpoints - which are military zones where the soldiers amuse themselves by installing a reign of terror - they are humiliated, arrested, beaten. The young - those between 14 and 30 years old - are not allowed to pass. They must take, at great risk, the mountain paths.

A student at An-Najah University was arrested at the checkpoint one year and one-half ago and is still being held for having slapped a soldier who gave him a body search.

After six years of deprivation and massacres, one senses the people are all the more revolted and on edge that, beyond the persecutions of Israel, that they will also undergo the strangulation by Europe. A scandalous Europe that punishes and starves an entire people for having voted for Hamas. It only reinforces their spirit of resistance. To rebel is the only thing that remains for them to protect their battered dignity. Because of this, one senses they are determined, ready to hold out against the entire world until that moment when the latter finally feels the full shame of having committed such a horrendous crime, until it understands that demanding the respect of their stolen rights is the legitimate right of the Palestinians.

It remains that what happened tonight will not be without serious consequences for them. The Israeli army will return to punish them all the more ferociously. But they continue on with their work, proceed as if nothing had happened. They look at you with the calm regard of those who know they have humanity on their side. It is their strength. "It is our life," they let calmly answer when you worry for them.

HELL

This isn't heaven on earth. It is truly hell-on-earth.

I sit here in my home, drinking a glass of wine, reading and watching the massacre of men, women and children and am horrified to the depths of my soul. I feel guilty that I sit here seemingly safe. I feel guilty. What can one do??????????

Signs Editorial:

"Hell"

by: Henry See

What do you do when the entire world is siding with murder? When the life of one Israeli soldier is worth more than the lives of an entire civilian population? Make that two civilian populations - Gaza and Lebanon. What do you do when the deliberate gunning down and bombing of villagers evacuating their town calls forth no shouts of protest, when the premeditated massacre of women and children is called "defence"?

Israel is given free reign to kill as many Arabs as its blood lust demands while the world looks on in silence, or worse, by suggesting those crazed Arab terrorists should calm down, implying "they deserve it".

Israeli psychopath in chief Olmert lets it be known in no uncertain terms that the bombing of Lebanon will continue until the two captured Israeli soldiers are returned. The headlines in the west read "Israeli foreign minister lays out conditions for ceasefire with Hezbollah". They're joking, right? Olmert's violence is played out as an offer for peace!

But it's no joke. It is simply business as usual in a media that is owned and operated as a subsidiary of the Zionist state. The media turns everything upside down: revenge murders carried out with a powerful military armed by US money are 'defence', while people fighting for their lives with homemade rockets and old rifles are 'terrorists'.

Welcome to the pathocracy.

Robert Fisk reported last week on a village in Lebanon whose occupants were ordered by the Israelis to evacuate before their village was to be bombed. As the villagers left, the Israeli's targeted not their homes and businesses, but the fleeing villagers themselves. They were killed. All of them, men women and at least 9 children.

Then John Bolton has the gall the step up and say "I think it would be a mistake to ascribe moral equivalence to civilians who die as the direct result of malicious terrorist acts," he added, while defending as "self-defense" Israel's military action, which has had "the tragic and unfortunate consequence of civilian deaths".

"It's simply not the same thing to say that it's the same act to deliberately target innocent civilians, to desire their deaths, to fire rockets and use explosive devices or kidnapping versus the sad and highly unfortunate consequences of self-defense."

Did you catch that? The willing and knowing slaughter of over 200 Lebanese civilians by Israel in the past 5 days is only the "sad and highly unfortunate consequences of self-defense"?!

Can you see how far down in the muck of psychopathic values we have become mired? Can you see that there is no humanity in Bolton's words? That it is a sound bite meant to reassure the American public that the Palestinians and the Lebanese are no better than animals, that it is OK to slaughter them wholescale in the name of "defence"? That it is meant to put you back to sleep so that all the noise of those bombs is disturbing your rest?

And this just in: "Race to Rescue 20,000 Brits Trapped in Lebanon Hell". It wasn't hell a week ago. You know, before Israel started bombing it back to the stone age.

But it's their own damn fault, right?

We read today as well that "UK Foreign Secretary Margaret Beckett has accused Hezbollah militants of 'pouring petrol on the bonfire'"! You mean the fire ignited in Gaza when Israel launched the invasion? Or maybe the fire ignited when the great, Western democracies decided the Palestinians needed to be collectively punished for voting for Hamas? Or could it be the fire that started to burn when Palestine was taken away from the people that had been living there for thousands of years and given to the Jews?

Of course not! It is simply because Arabs are different than "you and me". They don't value life the way "we" do. After all, anyone else on the globe would have been happy to turn over their ancestral land to the Jews after WW2, right? And when the new residents started demanding more and more and more, anyone but the Arabs would have been happy to continue giving them everything they demanded. Wouldn't you? If only those unreasonable Arabs were as unattached to their land as Americans...

Let's be honest here, if soldiers were to come and break down the doors of your home at night, you would welcome them in, offer them a smoke and a drink, wouldn't you? "Hey, just make yourselves comfortable. What's mine is yours. It's just those damn Arabs, be they Palestinian or Lebanese or Iraqi who go and make a fuss about searches that destroy all their belongings and heirlooms, or "accidents" that kill their children, or bulldozers that raze their houses. Anyone else in the world would have been happy to do any of this after all that the Jews suffered in WW2. Wouldn't they?

I suppose it's just bad luck that the Zionists had to choose the one place on the planet where they weren't going to be welcome.

SECRET HISTORY REVEALED . . . . .

I have recently read the above mentioned book "The Secret History of the World & How to Get Out Alive" by Laura Knight-Jadczyk. As a matter of fact, there is so much information contained within these pages, that I have begun re-reading this book.

If you liked the Da Vinci Code book by Dan Brown, you'll be absolutely fascinated by this definitive account of the world's history. The book takes you on a fascinating historical ride. One you'll never find anywhere else.

The phrase "nothing is as it seems" is truly the truth here. Our world, our beliefs, as we think they are, are not real - not the truth. And, the truth IS quite painful.

Do you have the guts to read this book?

I USED TO BE A 'NEW AGER'

lIKE THE TITLE SAYS, I USED TO BE A NEW-AGER.

I spent all my free time reading about how to ascend. There were also classes on rituals on attracting abundance, radiant health, angelic protection, finding my higher-self, chanting and healing.

For some time, I was part of a healing group, and we attracted many clients (although I was never paid or compensated for my part in this group - neither were any of the other individuals who participated - only the "healer" took in all the $$). But, we all though we were doing such necessary and benevolent work, that we never thought about any type of monetary compensation. We were a group of truth seekers, honest as the day was long, and just wanting to 'help' and 'assist' those who asked.

I remember telling people (family, friends, anyone who would listen) that to make their lives better, they needed to do this 'affirmation' or that 'intention' and things would work out for the best ! ! All the while, as I was INTENDING and AFFIRMING, my life was spiraling out of control ...... on a downhill slide ..... but I was unable to recognize any of it, as I was so caught up in my belief of 'intending' and 'affirming' and 'believing' that I would be blessed.

Well, I wasn't blessed at all.

One of the books we, in our little group, were urged to purchase and read was called "THE KEYS OF ENOCH" by JJ Hurtak. At that time, the books were in limited supply (or so we were told) and to purchase one (at a cost of $65.00) would be the best investment for our little ascention group. So, we all scraped up the cost of the book, and read and studied.

Sometime after this, I remember coming to a small realization that all that I was doing, to make my life better, was NOT working. That I needed to STOP and backup and figure out whether my praying, hoping, waiting for help to arrive was the RIGHT thing to do.

Well, it must have been time, because one day I just STOPPED EVERYTHING. No more rituals, intentions, chants, visualizations, etc. I decided it was time to DO something. And, almost magically things began changing in my life - and for the better.

The magic for my has become the DOING. When faced with a situation, you need to stop focusing on someone or something to help make your problem(s) disappear. You need to DO something to make your problem(s) disappear.

The reason for this post is an article I recently came across. It made me realize how taken in I was by all this New Age trickery. And, like anything, you can be taken in so easily when you are feeling down-and-out, ill, emotionally vulnerable, searching for an answer to your life's problems.

Take it from me, just one person, just my opinion, but New Age is just another money making scheme. Keep your money, and DO.

Below is part of the article that I referred to.

WHO IS JJ HURTAK ?

To kick off this ambitious project, let us have a look at Don JJ Hurtak, the guy who started the whole “Keys of Enoch” deal and garnered such followers as the young Don Bernard “Drunvalo” Perona. Now a fully fledged psychic mafia Don in his own right.

Don James J "J.J." Hurtak's published bio says:

"J.J. Hurtak, Ph.D., Ph.D., M.Th. is a social scientist and futurist who studied at the University of California and the University of Minnesota."

Now, certainly he does not say that his degrees came from the University of California and the University of Minnesota... he only says he has degrees, followed by the names of two universities where he "studied." However, certainly, a reader would assume from this juxtaposition that his degrees came from those universities.

The fact is that his PhD is in social science and his other PhD in History and Oriental Studies, were obtained from the Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana, Mexico.

Regarding Hurtak's claims to have been at the Uni of California in 1973, we find the following.
The Book of Knowledge: The Keys of Enoch® (1973, 1975, 1977) makes the correlation that this Divine Name was the key behind the transcription code of chemical letters which develops the human body. In 1973 while at the University of California, Hurtak came to understand that there was a connection between the series of linguistic and genetic associations in the spelling of God’s name in the biblical Hebrew (YHVH).

RULES FOR DEALING WITH SOCIOPATHS

Found this article from another blogger at:

http://wandering-reflections.blogspot.com

THIRTEEN RULES FOR DEALING WITH SOCIOPATHS IN EVERYDAY LIFE......

Well, this is only a guide... is much better to read the book from which these rules came from, "The Sociopath Next Door" by Martha Stout.

1) The first rule involves the bitter pill of accepting that some people literally have no conscience.

2) In a contest between your instincts and what is implied by the role a person has taken on, go with your instincts.

3) When considering a new relationship, practice the Rule of 3s regarding the claims and promises a person makes, and the responsibilities he or she has.

4) Question authority.

5) Suspect flattery.

6) If necessary redefine your concept of respect. [based on fear?]

7) Do not join the game.

8) The best way to protect yourself is to avoid him, to refuse any kind of contact or communication.

9) Question your tendency to pity too easily.

10) Do not try to redeem the unredeemable.

11) Never agree, out of pity or any other reason, to help a sociopath conceal his or her true character.

12) Defend your psyche.

13) Living well is the best revenge.

And, I absolutely agree that #13....living well is the best revenge IS THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO FOR YOURSELF AND YOUR FAMILY.

A FAREWELL TO MY DOG, HONEY

It has been a month now, and I cannot stop thinking about Honey. She was my wonderful companion and best pooch ever for 10 years.

Honey was a golden colored cocker spaniel that I rescued from a dog catcher on a cold February night. She was about 8 months old. I already had two other dogs, a Samoyed named Maxine and an all-american pooch named Baby. Honey was a wonderful addition to our family and home. Although, with three dogs, the workload could be extremely annoying, as I had to vacuum the house daily. And, during Spring and Fall, when the dogs were shedding, there were moments when I absolutely hated 'dog hair'. But never, did I hate the dogs.

In the winter, our families best friend was masking tape. Couldn't leave the house without a strip of that masking tape tapping on your coat, your sweater, your pants or sometimes the couch, chairs, side of the quilt on the bed, etc, etc, etc. But, even with all the added work for me, I never felt more loved than when I came home from errands, or being out and about for an entire day, and the three dogs would come running up to me, tails wagging, barking and running circles around me. It was pure l-o-v-e......magical, actually.

About 7 years after Honey joined the family, our first pooch, Baby, was put down. She had become very ill and it was time. I was with her (I went alone as my husband did not have the courage to be there with me) till the end. We brought her home and burried her in the back yard. The house seemed quite strange and empty without her.

Two and a half years later, Maxine was put down. Again, I was with her and my heart broke into a thousand pieces. Unlike Baby, who knew her time had come and didn't struggle....Maxine did struggle and it was extremely traumatic for her and for me. Now there was just Honey left to keep me company. And she did, for another two years. Then, I had to move. I had lived in my home for 15 years. And never once, in all my life, (and I had two other dogs before Baby, Maxine and Honey) had I ever been put in a position where I had to give up a pet. But, due to circumstances, now I did have to find a home for Honey.

During the process of selling my home, my Realtor's associate had to come to the house to show it to a client because my Realtor had to have some surgery. Deb (the assicoate) fell in love with Honey and commented to my Realtor that someday she would want a dog just like her. When my Realtor told Deb that I was looking for a home for Honey, Deb contacted me and we began what turned out to be a rather long and drawn out transition for Honey.

First, I took Honey to Deb's house for a long weekend to see how they both would react to each other. Deb was totally happy having Honey around for the three days. I was totally misearable. Honey was a bit confused.

Next, about a month later, we tried a longer boarding at Deb's. And again, both Deb and Honey got along fabulously. Emotionally I was devastated. Having had Honey for 10 years, it was like giving my child to another woman. I was jealous, scared, fearful, actually sick to my stomach. Moving day was now only a month away. Final preparations were being made by Deb and myself for Honey's permanent move.

The day of 'transition' for Honey was one of my saddest days. I woke early, took her for a long walk around the neighborhood. We walked through the woods, I made her waffles (her favorite people food) and packed her belongings. Later that day, we drove to Deb's and since Deb and I both lived on 'dead-end' streets, when I got there, Deb, Honey and I went for a walk along her road. As we finished our walk & approached Deb's home, I handed her the leash and bent down and hugged Honey, gave her a kiss and walked to my car.

Honey, of course, yipped and pulled on the leash, wanting to come with me. I never looked back, but drove home crying the whole way. The next day, we moved all our belongings out of the home we had lived in for 15 years and started a new journey.

Deb and I communicated via email weekly. She informed me of Honey's adjustments, the fun they were having together, and how much happiness she had brought into Deb's life. I was so glad that Honey was doing well. But I was going through terrible withdrawal symptoms of not having a pet to love, to greet me unconditionally when I came home. So time went by...........

After about 9 months, I contacted Deb via email. We had become friends. But, all along those nine months, even though she said I could come visit Honey anytime, I declined, as I did not want to confuse Honey and also seeing her would make me sad(er). Anyway, since so much time had passed, I told Deb, as Christmas was coming, and she wanted to go visit family who lived far away, that if she thought it would be ok, I could come over and take care of Honey while she visited family. Deb agreed ! ! !

Visiting Honey and caring for her for three days was wonderful. My children even got to see her. Honey took a little time warming up to us, but after some time, she was wagging her tail and climbing in our laps, licking our faces.

I also got to babysit Honey on one other occasion. Just an overnight, but at that time, I noticed she was thinner, walked with a limp and took a long time to get up out of her bed. I spoke w/Deb and she told me that she was steadily loosing weight, had a chronic uti and that she was sure that there was not much time left.

Two weeks later, Honey was put down. Deb called to let me know. We both cried and a couple weeks later, when the emotions weren't so raw, we went to dinner together to talk about Honey and how much happiness she brought into both our lives.

Well, I just wanted to put down on paper (so to speak) how much I loved my pets and how much I miss them, all of them - Buddy, Tippy, Baby, Maxine, Honey. Never have there been such wonderful companions.

I guess I'm feeling rather sad and wanting for the love of an animal companion. But that will have to wait.

DO YOU FEAR A NUKE IS NEAR ? ?

I'm just a little fish in a big pond. I like to think that I can still "think" and "learn" and "reason". There is much to learn about what is going on in our world. There is much to read about, especially my new found craving to reading about history past. And, it scares me......only because of the phrase: HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF. Don't think so, read the article below. Or, if you have the courage, go to the very intelligent woman's website and read it in full there.

Below is an article from Laura Knight-Jadczyk's blog. Be afraid, be very afraid.

TERRORISM AND THE THREE SILLIES

This weekend's edition of http://www.sott.net
carries several important pieces that I would like to bring to everyone's attention and then I am going to present a fable that I read as a child that will shed some light on our present situation.

The first article is by Paul Craig Roberts: Is Another 9/11 in the Works? Paul points out that what is happening in global politics - i.e. Bush planning another war in the midst of losing the first one - is totally insane. Yet, as anyone can see, the rhetoric leading up to bombing Iraq was identical to the mad propagandistic ravings that pass for political discourse concerning Iran today. "Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it." The immediate past tells us that Bush and the Neocons very definitely intend to make war on Iran. And yet, that is so insane that most of us can't grok it. The US Army is stretched to the breaking point, the economy is floating on illusion, the American people are a heartbeat away from unimaginable financial disaster, and yet Bush and the Warmongers are planning another hideously expensive war... or so it seems. Roberts states the case succinctly:

First of all, Bush lacks the troops to do the job. If the US military cannot successfully occupy Iraq, there is no way that the US can occupy Iran, a country approximately three times the size in area and population.

Second, Iran can respond to a conventional air attack with missiles targeted on American ships and bases, and on oil facilities located throughout the Middle East.

Third, Iran has human assets, including the Shia majority population in Iraq, that it can activate to cause chaos throughout the Middle East.

Fourth, polls of US troops in Iraq indicate that a vast majority do not believe in their mission and wish to be withdrawn. Unlike the yellow ribbon folks at home, the troops are unlikely to be enthusiastic about being trapped in an Iranian quagmire in addition to the Iraqi quagmire.
Fifth, Bush’s polls are down to 34 percent, with a majority of Americans believing that Bush’s invasion of Iraq was a mistake.

If you were being whipped in one fight, would you start a second fight with a bigger and stronger person?

That’s what Bush is doing. So, since Bush doesn't have the manpower or the moneypower (or even the cojones) to wage a proper war (I'm being sarcastic here since no war is ever "proper"), what's he gonna do?

The obvious answer is: Nukem!

Yup. It seems pretty clear that this is the answer that will suit. And Bush and gang have plenty of resources already on hand to do the job without making another blip in the current economic crisis; and just maybe, as a sideline, they can end up nuking Iraq too and "kill two birds with one stone". I mean, if you are going to start nuking, no reason to hold back, right? Solve all your problems with the same solution!

But there is a problem here: nuking Iran without provocation will absolutely enrage the whole rest of the world that is already feeling a lot of hostility toward the U.S. because there were no WMDs in Iraq not to mention the growing belief all over the planet that Bush and Co were complicit in the 911 attacks.

So, what to do? How to get justification to nuke Iran?

The answer is simple: "Those that do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it." The history indicates that Bush and Co are certainly quite capable of engaging in False Flag operations against their own country in order to justify their actions (things they wanted to do and planned to do in advance). As noted above, 911 is most likely just such a scenario even if I think that the Bush Gang were only complicit and did not carry out the entire conspiracy on their own. In that sense, I think that a lot of commentators are correct: the U.S. couldn't have pulled that off alone. But I digress.

Justifying the nuking of another country is going to take a bit more than a 911 type attack; you know, "like attracts like." That means that what we (at Signs of the Times) have been saying for some time is becoming more and more likely to transpire: a nuclear attack on the US devised and carried out as a False Flag operation designed to lay blame on Iran. Roberts presents this idea in the following way:

Readers, whose thinking runs ahead of that of most of us, tell me that another 9/11 event will prepare the ground for a nuclear attack on Iran. Some readers say that Bush, or Israel as in Israel’s highly provocative attack on the Jericho jail and kidnapping of prisoners with American complicity, will provoke a second attack on the US. Others say that Bush or the neoconservatives working with some “black ops” group will orchestrate the attack.

One of the more extraordinary suggestions is that a low yield, perhaps tactical, nuclear weapon will be exploded some distance out from a US port. Death and destruction will be minimized, but fear and hysteria will be maximized. Americans will be told that the ship bearing the weapon was discovered and intercepted just in time, thanks to Bush’s illegal spying program, and that Iran is to blame. A more powerful wave of fear and outrage will again bind the American people to Bush, and the US media will not report the rest of the world’s doubts of the explanation.
Reads like a Michael Crichton plot, doesn’t it?

Fantasy? Let’s hope so. I'm afraid that I don't exactly agree with this version. I don't think that minimizing American deaths will be an objective. On the contrary, I think that maximizing American deaths will be deliberately sought so as to maximize the fear and hysteria. That means a nuke attack on American soil - not on a ship - and probably highly populated soil at that.

Moving on to the next item that caught my eye from the weekend edition of Signs: Robert C. Koehler writes a piece entitled Trust Us. In this article he tells the story of Ion Sancho, the election supervisor of Leon County, Fla., my home state. Koehler writes:

The problem is, there's an anti-democratic force rampaging across the country that wants ... privately conducted, secrecy-shrouded elections. The state of Florida even has a bizarre law outlawing manual recounts of election results. This removes all chance of public scrutiny from the process.

I humbly submit that this is nuts, and that if we don't scream out at the top of our lungs we're going to lose our democracy. What we're witnessing, I fear - and what isolated watchdogs like Sancho are warning us about, but cannot prevent all by themselves - is democracy's transition to expensive charade.I've been talking about this since the last election. When I saw what happened then, when the Signs Team had collected certain data, it was clear that fraudulent elections were already a fact of life in the U.S. Certainly, the 2000 election was the last fair election that was ever held in this country and that one was "given" to George Bush by trickery, bribery, coercion, blackmail, and having certain elements in place at the right place and time according to a devious plan. Once Bush had been declared president, he and his minions were then able to suppress any process that might have undone the "appointment." What's more, there were then able to set into motion the plan that ensured that whoever they want gets into office whereever and whenever they choose: manipulatable electronic voting.

So folks, its already a done deal. It's all over but the crying. There is NO chance whatsoever of anyone getting rid of the "Powers That Be" in the U.S. by way of the exercise of the vote. Anybody who suggests anything different to you is just living in denial or deliberately blowing smoke.

The third item on the Weekend Signs Page that I want to talk about is J. Crofts The Two Americas. He writes:

There are two Americas.

There's the America most of you reading this actually believed in-or still believe in. That America is the fabled "land of the free, home of the brave".

...........and you'll have to go to Laura's blog to read the "rest of the story"..........
