It's April, but the Snow Has Not Stopped

This was today's weather report on our local tv station:

Today was April 13th (actually, Friday the 13th!) and as I went about my day, many people commented on how weird the weather has been for this time of the year.

We, who live in New England, have a saying: "Wait ten minutes and the weather will change." Well, I'm waiting for the weather to change. Since April 1st, it has snowed or we've had snow fluries every day - except for one.

In my neck of the woods, the big Spring Event is the traditional Boston Marathan - a 26 mile race for runners of all caliber. But even though we're expecting a Northeaster of a snowstorm on Sunday night, the marathon has not been cancelled.
